Kwilting Network

We ask the question? What might a ‘politics of possibilities’ look like? What kinds of quantum leaps can we take to decenter ourselves from a human-centric politics to a politics that acknowledges the agency and vitality of the nonhuman world? What if we could inspire shifts that bring culture to the edges of new kinds of partnerships with the world? Kwilting is The Emergence Network’s earth-wide project to connect activated nodes of shared inquiry into the vibrancy of the nonhuman. It is a mesh of virtual-local interactions generating new kinds of questions beyond the limited concerns of solutionism, and weaving these insights into a commonwealth for new kinds of partnerships with the world. Most importantly, Kwilting is the acknowledgement that responding is always partial, humble and of this earth: there are no solutions.
